In this world God’s people

If painful memories return

When the pieces are still cracked
I go to the chapel in my heart

God says do not be surprised
In our sufferings

When this work seems too hard
God reminds me

Through decades of abuse I
Endured…patiently
Putting words to things
Through many tears
With Jesus by my side

Until Jesus returns
